Silent Auction

As they used to say on Monty Python, "And now something entirely different." This year, the Gaither Society plans to hold an "Artists and Artisans Show" at the meeting in Raleigh, NC. All members are welcome to display their handiwork, be it painting, quilting, basket weaving, ceramics, etc. The only requirements are as follows: Because space is limited, only TWO items may be displayed - All items displayed are to be considered as donations to the Society for sale in a silent auction - Proceeds from any sales will be deposited in the treasury for disbursement for projects designated and approved by the Board of Directors - Items not sold will be returned to the contributer - Each item to be displayed should be accompanied by a 3 X 5 card with the name of the contributor, the name of the item, and the lowest acceptable bid. We hope you will enjoy the show/auction and appreciate what a talented bunch of "cousins" the Society is!
